If you are looking for an affordable yet powerful folding hunting knife, you should definitely get the Double Safe Hunter from Cold Steel®. The model for it was the very popular Voyager® from the “old guard”. Its broad, approximately 9 cm long clip-point blade is made of 8Cr13MoV steel and has been hardened to a Rockwell hardness of 57-58 HRC. No matter what task you are faced with, you can be sure that you have the right knife at hand, because its blade is small enough to handle delicate work, but also large enough to skin small and large animals.



Its glass fiber reinforced nylon (gfn) handle with steel pocket clip is slim and ergonomically comfortable – an absolute dream for extended use. It is available in three color variants: bright orange (cs-23jb), od green (cs-23jc) or with a striking camouflage pattern (cs-23je).



When designing Double Safe, Cold Steel® was concerned, as always, with protecting your fingers. The knife's modern tilting lock has double security and is therefore incredibly resistant to knocks and impacts.



8cr13mov stainless steel

8Cr13MoV has similar properties to Aus 8A and is a proven steel ideal for making work knives. Cold Steel®’s own testing has shown that this high-carbon stainless steel is hard and resistant to corrosion. Like Aus 8A, it has good edge retention and can also be easily resharpened.
