Cold Steel® knives the ti-lite® series evokes memories of the smooth agility and rebellious design of the iconic switchblade knife of the 1950s. Often copied but never equaled, the ti-lite® designed by the late, great phil boguszewski is a masterpiece of performance and style.



For maximum strength and security, Cold Steel® Ti-Lites® equipped them with liner locks (side-loaded spring locks) made of stainless steel, which were able to withstand a weight of over 66 kg (145 lbs.) in internal testing.



Ti-Lite® knives are equipped with a small steel pocket clip. They can be opened quickly, either by using your thumbs or by hooking one of the protective elements on the edge of the pouch when removing it from your pants pocket.



Zy-ex™ ti-lite®

Since many people like the look of ti-lites® cold steel® developed a cheaper alternative. the zy-ex™ ti-lite® (with 4 or 6 inch blade) looks almost identical to its more expensive counterparts but the handle scales use glass reinforced zy-ex™ instead of 7075 aluminum or g-10 and japanese aus 8a steel was used instead of s35vn steel for the blade. the result is exceptionally lightweight, incredibly strong, sharp, attractive and affordable knives for almost any budget.



Stainless steel from 8a

Cold Steel® has been using the same expertly hardened Japanese Aus 8A steel for nearly three decades. This steel has been extremely tested and has proven over the years to be ideal for making blades for work knives – it is hard and corrosion resistant, with good edge retention and is also easy to sharpen.
