The Cold Steel® Ti-Lite® series of knives evokes memories of the smooth agility and rebellious design of the iconic 1950s switchblade. Often copied but never equaled, the Ti-Lite®, designed by the late, great Phil Boguszewski, is a masterpiece of performance and style.

For maximum strength and security, cold steel® ti-lites® are equipped with liner locks (side-spring closure) made of stainless steel, which were able to withstand a weight of over 66 kg (145 lbs.) in internal testing.

Ti-lite® knives are equipped with a small steel pocket clip. They can be opened quickly, either using your thumb or by hooking one of the protective elements on the edge of the pouch when removing it from your pants pocket.

Zy-ex™ ti-lite®

Since many people like the look of Ti-Lites®, Cold Steel® developed a cheaper alternative. The Zy-Ex™ Ti-Lite® (with a 4- or 6-inch blade) looks almost identical to its more expensive counterparts, but the handle scales use glass-reinforced Zy-Ex&Trade instead of 7075 or G-10 aluminum, and the blade is made of Japanese AUS 8A steel instead of S35VN steel. The result is knives that are exceptionally lightweight, incredibly strong, sharp, attractive, and affordable for almost any budget.

Stainless steel from 8a

Cold Steel® has used the same expertly hardened AUS 8A Japanese steel for nearly three decades. This steel has been thoroughly tested and proven over the years to be ideal for making work knife blades: it's hard and corrosion-resistant, with good edge retention, and is also easy to sharpen.
