The Tre is a pocket knife with a titanium frame lock, reinforced with a steel insert. The G10 titanium handle is 3D-milled, as are the belt clip and spacer. Thanks to the IKBS ball bearing, the M390 steel blade opens as smoothly as butter.

The patented design by Lionsteel is unique and allows you to quickly convert a one-handed knife into a two-handed knife. The thumb opener can be disassembled. The necessary tools (Torx wrench) are supplied in high-quality wooden packaging. Blind screws to close the threaded hole of the thumb opener are also included. Unlike the full titanium version, the flipper cannot be disassembled in this version. At the 2015 Blade Show in Atlanta, the knife was voted the "Tre" (Knife of the Year).
