Tim Wells spends more hours hunting than most of us, and if he's learned anything, it's how important a good skinning knife is, especially when you're hungry, wet, tired, and have cold hands.



The Slock Master Hunter is a special Tim Wells version of the Cold Steels® Double Safe Hunter (item no. CS-23JB, CS-23JC and CS-23JE). It features Tim's signature red handle and is equipped with a specially designed drop point blade (with plenty of potbelly) that is perfect for all outdoor activities.



Like the Double Safe, the Slock Master is an affordable yet high-performance folding hunting knife with an 8Cr13Mov steel blade and a glass-reinforced nylon (GFN) handle that is slim and ergonomically comfortable and is equipped with a steel pocket clip. The knife’s modern tilt lock has double security and is therefore incredibly resistant to shocks and impacts.



8cr13mov stainless steel

8Cr13MoV has similar properties to Aus 8A and is a proven steel ideal for making work knives. Cold Steel®’s own testing has shown that this high-carbon stainless steel is hard and corrosion-resistant. Like Aus 8A, it has good edge retention and can also be easily resharpened.
