The Rao is a survival knife which, being a compact field knife with a strong and heavy blade, has a particularly secure locking mechanism. The blade is further secured by a steel pin which is manually screwed through two holes in the protective area of ​​the solid aluminium handle. This additional security is necessary due to the particular stress to which this knife is exposed during use.

The knife sheath is an essential part of this knife system. It allows the user to carry the knife open by means of a clip or strap or to carry it closed inside the bag. The sheath can be attached to belts or equipment thanks to the molle system.

This new version of the well-known Extrema Ratio Rao model was developed with a new drop point blade and also has an improved handle that is rounded on the sides for a better ergonomic grip.

The sheath offers two options: it keeps the knife in an open position, making it easy to use frequently, or it protects it closed, so it can be stored in your front pocket. The knife comes with a diamond sharpener so you can always keep your knife perfectly sharp.
