The Extrema Ratio RAO C is a compact folding knife that is a descendant of the iconic RAO II thanks to its design. Despite its smaller size, the RAO C offers the same qualities as its bigger brother in terms of robustness and guaranteed reliability, while also providing improved portability and handling.

The handle consists of two finely crafted anodized aluminum scales, which Extreme Ratio has given a hard oxidation treatment, making the handle more resistant to wear and corrosion. The two steel frames increase the handle's strength, making it suitable for even the most demanding uses.

The opening mechanism is particularly robust, supported by a safety system that transforms the knife into a true fixed blade. The primary blade safety is activated by raising and lowering the safety pin. A practical and quick secondary safety system has been added to guarantee the user maximum safety during use; the safety can be activated simply by moving the locking pin horizontally.

The reversible clip allows for concealed pocket carry and makes the knife invisible from the outside. The blade is made of Böhler N690 steel, hardened to 58 HRC, with the classic MIL-C-13924 Extrema Ratio black coating. To reduce the weight of the steel frame, a shape resembling the RAO C profile was laser-engraved, which was then used to make a carrying case that accompanies the knife.
