When developing the Cold Steels® Pro Lite, the clear goal was to create a pocket knife that offered the strength and durability that Cold Steel® fans and customers have come to expect, but that also remained affordable!

The Pro Lite was designed by renowned knifemaker Andrew Demko. It features a highly polished, cryogenically treated 4116 stainless steel blade (clip, spear, or tanto) that is highly precise and incredibly easy to sharpen, even in the field. The knife also has a sturdy, fiberglass-reinforced nylon handle (in matte black or blue) with an integrated lanyard and a reversible pocket clip for both right- and left-handed users.

The Pro Lite features Cold Steels® innovative Tri-Ad® lock for added security and strength. This pocket knife was able to withstand all of Cold Steels®' infamous and extremely rigorous quality control and stress tests! 4116 stainless steel knife

4116 steel is a fine-grained stainless steel from Germany. It is often used for pharmaceutical equipment and high-quality kitchen knives. Its balanced ratio of carbon and chromium ensures superior rust protection and high strength. It can be ground to very thin, extremely sharp cutting edges. An excellent choice for hunting and outdoor knives. Cold Steels® 4116 stainless steel is cryogenically treated. This low-temperature treatment ensures significantly improved strength, hardness, and toughness, while achieving improved edge retention.
