Gunsite™ is a special version of Cold Steels® Counter Point 1. Its blade is semi-serrated and has so-called jimpings (notches) on the back that provide additional grip.

The blade is engraved with the logo of the Gunsite™ Academy , which provides firearms training to elite soldiers, law enforcement officers and American citizens in Arizona.

In terms of strength and toughness, AUS 10A has the same qualities as AUS 8A. However, this steel offers the extraordinary advantage of 20% more edge retention. This ability to stay sharp longer gives it significant performance advantages over other, more common types of stainless steel.
