When designing the Select Fire multi-tool, the focus was on its function as a knife. In terms of construction, the knife's blade, which can be opened manually, is the central element. And this blade does a good job of this. Made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, it is robust and has high edge retention. It's also glass-bead blasted, giving it a matte surface that's less susceptible to dirt. As if that weren't enough, the Select Fire offers an incredibly comfortable handle that ensures secure handling—something that unfortunately can't be said of many multifunctional tools.

The Grant & Select Fire by Gavin Hawk is also a practical multitool. The equipment includes a set of four screwdriver bits ( bits ) including a fold-out bit holder. The inserts (two slotted screwdriver bits and two Phillips screwdriver bits) are housed in two small magazines integrated into the handle, which can be easily opened and snapped back into place after removing the appropriate bit. Black circuit boards complete the elegant overall look. Whether you use the Select Fire as a pocket knife or as a screwdriver, the contoured handle made of fiberglass-reinforced nylon is equally comfortable to hold.
