The Mini Recon 1® features an AUS-10A steel blade with a stonewashed finish and a structured, fiberglass-reinforced nylon handle with a particularly robust pocket clip. For left-handers, the clip can be used with either hand. To make opening as comfortable as possible, each knife is equipped with a thumb disk.

Stainless steel from 10a

In terms of strength and toughness, AUS 10A has the same qualities as AUS 8A. However, this steel offers the extraordinary advantage of 20% better edge retention. This ability to stay sharp longer gives it significant performance advantages over other, more common types of stainless steel.
