The all-steel design truly highlights Kershaw's blackwash finish on the blade and handle. While blackwash gives the knife a rough, bold look, this finish doesn't just apply to the exterior. This coating provides additional protection to the metal and helps hide potential signs of wear, such as scratches.

With the SpeedSafe opening mechanism, the blade of this folding knife extends quickly and smoothly. To open the knife, you can use the integrated flipper or the thumb opener. A liner lock ensures the blade is securely locked when open and also closes easily after use.

The Kershaw Starter is equipped with a Deep Carry pocket clip and can therefore be carried comfortably and discreetly in a trouser pocket.
