The broad, drop-point blade flows smoothly into the handle. The handle has a beautiful pattern and tapers gently to a narrow end. Its generous bolster and the unusual surface structure on both sides ensure a firm, secure grip.

True to the knife's name, the handle's scale pattern is inspired by each person's unique identity trait: the fingerprint. The concentric circles, similar to fingerprints, give the Kershaw Identity an unusual look and ensure an even better grip. The blade is made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, a steel that is characterized by good edge retention and is easy to resharpen. It is burnished and therefore non-glare.

Thanks to the SpeedSafe® opening mechanism, the blade can be extended quickly and effortlessly. The handle is made of steel, with a fiberglass-reinforced, structured nylon front and a milled rear handle. A frame lock ensures the blade is locked securely and comfortably. The Deep Carry clip is reversible (left/right) and allows for discreet carrying.
