The broad, drop-point blade flows smoothly into the handle. The handle has a beautiful pattern and gently tapers to a narrow end. Its generous bolster and the unusual surface structure on both sides ensure a firm and secure grip in the hand.

True to the name of the knife, the pattern of the handle scales is inspired by a unique identity trait of each person: the fingerprint. The concentric circles, similar to fingerprints, give the Kershaw Identity an unusual look and ensure an even better grip. The blade is made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, a steel that is characterized by good edge retention and can be easily resharpened. It is burnished and therefore does not glare.

Thanks to the speedsafe® opening mechanism, the blade can be extended quickly and effortlessly. The handle is made of steel, with a front handle made of fiberglass-reinforced structured nylon and a rear handle with milled structure. A frame lock ensures that the blade is locked comfortably and securely. The deep carry clip is reversible (left/right) and allows for discreet carrying.
