Kershaw Knives and Emerson Knives have joined forces to bring to market a collection of knives that bring together Kershaw's precision engineering and Emerson's uncompromising functional design.

The CQC-8K folding knife has a tanto blade with a single-sided bevel and is therefore razor-sharp. The blueing protects the blade and ensures a glare-free surface. The G-10 handle scales provide a secure grip, and a stable liner lock ensures the blade is securely locked.

The CQC-8K can be opened manually using the thumb disc or Emerson's patented wave-shaped function . Thanks to this special device, the knife can be opened when removed from the pocket, so that the blade is immediately ready for use. A small, wavy projection at the base of the blade is designed to catch on the pocket seam when the knife is pulled, allowing the blade to slide into the open position. This quick-opening system is especially popular with military, rescue, and police forces.

Thanks to the reversible pocket clips, the knife can be comfortably carried on either the left or right hand.
