In many ways, the Cold Steel® Hold Out series of knives are EDC ( every day carry ) knives that are ideal for everyday use. They are incredibly lightweight and comfortable to carry, yet at the same time give you a sense of security that only high-performance pocket knives can offer.



The beautiful satin-finished S35VN steel blades are extremely functional. They are ground from the back, with a narrow V-shaped cross section and a hand-sharpened cutting edge. They are curved from the neck to the sharp tip, effortlessly gliding through tough and rough materials and can easily perform everyday tasks and cutting jobs.



G-10 handles are ergonomic marvels. They provide an incredibly secure grip and do not twist or wobble in the palm of your hand during use. The G-10 material and grip-promoting cutouts provide additional grip for a variety of holding techniques. Additionally, the position of the Tri-Ad® locking mechanism and the geometry of the blades and handle are perfectly coordinated. The result is a knife with a power-to-weight ratio that has astonished even Cold Steel’s own research and development team.



Available in two sizes, Hold Outs are incredibly slim and flat and feature a reversible pocket clip.

This is an extraordinary American super steel. CPM S35VN is not only extremely strong and durable, it can also be sharpened very well to razor sharpness and maintains this edge for a long time. With its uniform microstructure, this very fine-grained powder steel offers good and consistent properties: durable, reliable, highly resistant to corrosion, tough and hard even with finely ground cutting edges. A good, versatile steel for top-quality knives and tools.
