The mega knives are inspired by classic Spanish navaja knives, but are extremely modern in terms of design and materials and immediately caused a sensation!

The Espada series is just that! The result of a collaboration between knifemaker Andrew Demko and Cold Steel President Lynn C. Thompson. This collection is the perfect fusion of Demko's ingenious technical talent and Thompson's extensive knowledge of blades and tools.

These massive and highly efficient folding knives are available in two different sizes—for the bravest and most courageous—but are still surprisingly light to carry. They've been expertly designed to fit comfortably in your pocket, and you'll soon forget you're carrying such a large and impressive blade.

Thanks to the demko-patented thumb disc, the sword knives can be opened at the pocket hem directly when removed from the pocket and are therefore ready for use in no time!

The beautiful blades are made from high-quality 10A steel. This super steel was deliberately selected: the edges can be ground extremely finely, yet remain sharp for a long time.

To protect against this razor-sharp blade, each sword is equipped with Cold Steel's patented Tri-AD® locking mechanism. This lock has proven to be surprisingly shock-resistant and solid. It's virtually impossible for the blade to close in your hand. During Cold Steel's famous toughness and load tests, the XL sword was able to easily withstand not only a free weight of 272 kg (600 lbs.), but also a suspended engine block!
