The Cryo is a classic Hinderer design, made solely of stainless steel. A matte gray titanium carbonitride coating ensures a simple appearance that enhances this design. As with all of his knives, Rick drew on his practical experience as a firefighter and paramedic when designing the Cryo. While this folding knife is designed to be durable, it remains visually appealing and feels good in the hand.

A stable frame lock with end stop ensures the blade is securely locked. The Cryo is also equipped with Kershaw's SpeedSafe® opening mechanism and can therefore be opened quickly and effortlessly with one hand, using the integrated flipper or the thumb.

The knife is equipped with a practical reversible pocket clip that can be worn in four different carrying positions.
