When developing the Code 4® folding knife, Cold Steel®'s goal was to design an ultra-thin, feather-light, and highly practical knife that would be incredibly comfortable to carry all day long. Carrying a good knife provides peace of mind, and many of Cold Steel®'s friends and colleagues say they're always looking for that lightweight, reliable knife that can accompany them in their everyday lives. Cold Steel® Code 4® could very well be this knife! It doesn't weigh down your clothes or feel unnecessarily bulky. It simply offers great comfort and is always there when you need it!

The Code 4® folding knives are available in a variety of blade designs and are equipped with a reversible pocket clip and thumb stud. Each knife features a sturdy, hard-anodized handle made of 6061 aluminum in gunmetal gray and a razor-sharp, satin-finished blade. It also features Cold Steel®'s world-famous Tri-AD® locking mechanism.

Model 2018 - The Code 4® spearhead with a blade made of S35VN steel replaces the discontinued model made of CTS® XHP (item no. CST-58TPCS).

CPM S35VN steel

This is an extraordinary American super steel. CPM S35VN is not only extremely tough and durable, but it can also be sharpened very well to razor sharpness and maintains this edge for a long time. With its uniform microstructure, this very fine-grained powder steel offers good and consistent properties: durable, reliable, highly corrosion-resistant, tough, and hard even with finely ground cutting edges. A good, versatile steel for premium knives and tools.
