The Under-the-Hill neighborhood was the infamous waterfront district of Natchez, Mississippi, in the early 19th century. It was so disreputable that it was rarely mentioned in the elegant parlors of the stately villas across town. Cold Steel's Natchez Bowie was inspired by the seedy taverns and dark streets of the Under-the-Hill neighborhood.

The long blade is perfectly shaped to provide power, reach and leverage, and its considerable weight is perfectly balanced, giving it unparalleled dynamism and speed.

The finest materials and craftsmanship guarantee exceptional performance. The blade is made of CPM-3V steel. This steel is expensive and difficult to work with, but the resulting blade is virtually indestructible. The handle also plays an important role in the knife's overall performance. It features a double guard, a bolster and pommel made of highly polished 300 stainless steel, and a durable black G10 handle. This ensures a comfortable and secure grip.
