Matching the Hanwei Musashi Katana (item number SH1016), the wakizashi is black and has a durable, structured saya .

The tsuka-ito is made of leather and wrapped over ray skin. The carbon steel blade is hand-forged and hardened along the edge to create a distinctive temper line ( hamon ).

To protect the sword, the musashi wakizashi comes with a matching cloth sheath and a Japanese sword care kit.
