The philosophy behind Cold Steel® Counter Tac Boot Knives couldn't be simpler: functionality is everything. Simple enough: they work and they do a great job!



For optimum strength and durability, its razor-sharp double-edged blades made of aus 8a stainless steel have been vacuum hardened, cryogenically treated and given a stonewashed finish. The ergonomic design of the kray-ex® handles is comfortable and adapts to any gripping technique. The deeply textured handle surface and hand protection on both sides ensure that the knife will never slip out of your hand.



Each model includes a state-of-the-art secure-ex® holster with a removable holster/belt clip and attachment slots.



Stainless steel aus 8a

Cold Steel® has been using the same expertly hardened Japanese Aus 8A steel for nearly three decades. This steel has been extremely tested and has proven over the years to be ideal for making blades for work knives – it is hard and corrosion resistant, with good edge retention and is also easy to sharpen.
