Authentic replica of a Celtic helmet of the Montefortino type. These helmets have been part of the basic equipment of the Roman legionaries since the 4th century BC and were only replaced at the end of the Republican period by the so-called Imperial-Gallic Weisenau helmet types (Imperial Gallic type).

The helmet comes with a cotton-padded inner cap.
