Aconite with ribbons, 14th century, 1.6 mm steel

Solid replica of a medieval aconite. This type of helmet was in use in central and northern Europe from the mid-14th to the 15th century. The helmet is only made of 1.6 mm thick steel. However, due to the reinforcement provided by the riveted steel straps, it can certainly be used for exhibition combat. The helmet has a comfortable leather insert and a buckled chin strap.

The helmet is sold without a halter!
