Are you looking for a helmet that's both high-quality and affordable ? Do you want to treat yourself to a piece of history? Then you've come to the right place! Here we offer a sturdy , handcrafted medieval helmet that's not only easy on the eyes but also easy on the wallet.

Aconite, a rather simple, brimmed hat-shaped helmet, came into fashion in the 13th century and enjoyed great popularity throughout Europe until the 15th century.

Although aconites existed in many variations, they all had the same key feature: a broad brim that provided protection against sword blows made from above and fired or thrown projectiles without restricting the wearer's vision, hearing, or breathing.

Depictions of aconites are numerous. An armed soldier with a wolfsbane and cheekbones appears, for example, in the Codex Hardenbergianus , a magnificently illuminated manuscript created in the mid-14th century, which can now be admired in the National Library of Norway in Oslo.

This authentic reconstruction of a 14th-century late medieval monastery helmet is handcrafted from 1.6 mm (16 gauge) steel. It consists of a round helmet bell, riveted and overlapping band fittings or fasteners (a diadem, a coronet band, and an ear-to-ear band), and a circumferential band-flanged brim approximately 6.5 cm wide with two movable cheek flaps.

The interior is blackened for improved corrosion protection and features an adjustable, riveted, black leather inlet. The adjustable, pre-cut, supple black leather chin strap allows for individual size adjustment. It is riveted to both cheek pieces and secured with a leather strap.

This wearable helmet is suitable for light combat, reenactment, LARP, stage, or TV/film. It best suits late medieval settings and is ideal for completing a European warrior's armor. Of course, the medieval helmet is also an excellent addition to any helmet collector's treasure trove.

Top quality at the best price : With the excellent price-performance ratio, there's no reason to hesitate! Order this affordable, top-class helmet now and see for yourself!

The steel used here is not stainless and may show slight signs of corrosion. We recommend regular maintenance of the helmets, for example with Ballistol, a universal oil ideal for preserving steel products.

The above specifications may vary slightly from specimen to specimen.
