This ornate saber features a 1065 carbon steel blade, a wire-wrapped leather handle, and a brass guard with a handcrafted blade protector. The overall length is approximately 92.4 cm.
This beautiful sword is a faithful replica of the sabers used. The hand-forged blade is made of British military steel that can be bent over 20° and still return to its original shape. The leather handle is wrapped with wire. This sword is appropriately decorated with a high level of decoration. The brass guard has a hand-made guard and the inscription "Us Among the Branches." The blade is engraved with foliage, military trophies, U.S.A., E Pluribus Unum, and Iron Proof. In the pre-war years, many Confederate officers, including General Robert E. Lee, carried this sword in the Indian campaigns. The full tang is hammered and visible through the solid brass pommel; the scabbard is made of blued steel.
