I am Mjölnir, the crushing hammer of the thunder god Thor. Sindri and Brokk, the dwarves, forged me. If you throw me, I will never miss the target. Thrym the giant stole me from Asgard, but the gods brought me home with a trick:

Thrym stole me. He wanted Freya to set me free.
but loki and thor, dressed in freya's clothes, competed for the giant.
The giant handed me over to the 'bride's' lap.
