In Japan, the crane is a very popular symbol of good luck, longevity, loyalty, and strength. When developing a new series for the tried-and-tested range of Japanese blades, Cold Steel® seemed like a no-brainer to enrich the collection with the crane motif.

Aside from its size, the Mizutori® ( Crane ) Wakizashi is the spitting image of its bigger brother (Mizutori® Katana, Item No. 88ckk) in every respect (materials, shape, and finish). It's just as light and agile, made from the same high-quality materials, but is significantly smaller and therefore the perfect complement to the Mizutori® Katana. However, this beautiful blade can also stand alone.
