In Japan, the crane is a very popular symbol of good luck, longevity, loyalty and strength. When developing a new series for the tried and tested range of Japanese blades, Cold Steel® thought it would be a no-brainer to enrich the collection with the crane motif.



Apart from its size, the mizutori® ( crane ) wakizashi is the spitting image of its bigger brother (mizutori® katana, item no. 88ckk) in every respect (materials, shape and workmanship). It is just as light and agile, made from the same high-quality materials, but is significantly smaller and therefore the perfect complement to the mizutori® katana. However, this beautiful blade can also be kept as a stand-alone piece.
