The Mini Tac® Neck Knives from the Cold Steel® Collection are so slim and lightweight that they can be worn comfortably virtually all day long – both over and under clothing! Thanks to the sturdy ball chains and heavy duty Secure-Ex® sheaths designed specifically to hold the Mini Tac® – for precise storage of the knives but also for quick and easy removal, these handy neck knives are suitable as utility, EDC or rescue knives and are even the ideal camping companion. Their versatility is almost endless.



Each Mini Tac® has a slim, structured handle made from fitted Griv-Ex™. This means they can be worn flat and close to the body and offer an optimal gripping surface. Combined with the integrated sub-hilt (finger pick), these handles give the hand incredible leverage and prevent the knife from rotating. This ensures a remarkably secure hold.



The blades, made from stainless steel, have been heat-treated using the latest technology and polished to a razor-sharp finish. For their size, they are incredibly robust, which is due in part to the full-tang construction.



The Mini Tac® Tanto has a remarkably wide and rigid blade and a very robust, reinforced tip. This makes it ideal for pushing even hard and tough objects. The wide blade also has a generous hollow grind and a particularly sharp cutting edge. This means that the knife's cutting ability is almost as good as its penetration power.



Stainless steel aus 8a

Cold Steel® has been using the same expertly hardened Japanese Aus 8A steel for nearly three decades. This steel has been extremely tested and has proven over the years to be ideal for making blades for work knives – it is hard and corrosion resistant, with good edge retention and is also easy to sharpen.
