Cold Steel® Mini Tac Series

The Mini Tac® collection neck knives from Cold Steel® are so slim and lightweight that they can be worn comfortably virtually all day long, both over and under clothing! Thanks to the sturdy ball chains and the durable Secure-Ex® sheaths, specifically designed to hold the Mini Tac®—for precise storage but also quick and easy access—these handy neck knives are suitable as utility, EDC, or rescue knives, and are even the ideal camping companion. Their versatility is almost endless.

Each Mini Tac® has a slim, structured handle made from Griv-Ex™. This means they can be used flat and close to the body and offer an optimal gripping surface. Combined with the integrated sub-hilt (finger pick), these handles give the hand incredible leverage and prevent the knife from twisting. This ensures a remarkably secure hold.

The blades, made of stainless steel, have been heat-treated using the latest technology and polished to a razor-sharp finish. For their size, they are incredibly robust, due in part to their full-tang construction.

The Mini Tac® Tanto has a remarkably wide, rigid blade and a very robust, reinforced tip. This makes it ideal for pushing even hard, rigid objects. The wide blade also has a generous hollow grind and an especially sharp cutting edge. This means the knife's cutting ability is almost as good as its penetrating power.

Aus 8a stainless steel

Cold Steel® has used the same expertly hardened AUS 8A Japanese steel for nearly three decades. This steel has been thoroughly tested and proven over the years to be ideal for making work knife blades: it's hard and corrosion-resistant, with good edge retention, and is also easy to sharpen.
