The knives are crafted from 8Cr13Mov steel and are available in three different blade shapes ( tanto , clip point , and double-edged ). To protect your precious fingers, each knife has a wide, stainless steel hand guard, and the handle is visually inspired by Cold Steel®'s larger Leatherneck® models. These knives come with a durable Secure-Ex® sheath, to which a Cold Steel® ball chain or C-clip can be attached.

8cr13mov stainless steel

8Cr13MoV has similar properties to AUS 8A and is a proven steel ideal for making work knives. Cold Steel®'s own tests have shown this high-carbon stainless steel to be hard and corrosion-resistant. Like AUS 8A, it has good edge retention and is also easily resharpened.
