Give away High Middle Ages Half Boots, Reversible Sewn
High, reversible, medieval boots
These half boots are based on archaeological finds in Schleswig and Konstanz, and are suitable for depicting the period around 1100–1400 AD.
The shoes have a high cut and lace-up ankle. The sole is made of vegetable-tanned cowhide leather, approximately 4 mm thick. The upper leather is approximately 1.8 mm thick and is also vegetable-tanned cowhide.
The half boots are handmade and reversibly sewn using an authentic method.
These shoes are available in different sizes. The sizes are normal, but the shoes are quite narrow, especially in the toe box. If you have wider feet or prefer something roomier (or would like room for an insole), it's best to order a size larger.
Available as standard in sizes: 41 to 46.
Attention :
The robustness of these reversible shoes may not match modern claims. Reversible shoes are quite sensitive to asphalt, cobblestones, and gravel. These floor coverings did not yet exist in the Middle Ages, so we recommend using real wooden shoes, known as trippes (item no. 3129030100).
