Reversible medieval high boots

These half boots are based on archaeological finds in Schleswig and Konstanz. Suitable to represent around 1100-1400 AD

The shoes have a high cut with laces at the ankle. The sole is made of vegetable tanned cowhide leather of approximately 4 mm thickness. The upper leather is approximately 1.8 mm thick and is also vegetable tanned cowhide.

The half boots are handmade and reversibly sewn using an authentic method.

These shoes are available in different sizes. The sizes are normal, but the shoes are quite narrow, especially in the toe area. If you have wider feet or prefer something roomier (or would like room for an insole), it is best to order a size up.

Available as standard in sizes: 41 to 46.

Attention :
The robustness of these reversible shoes may not meet modern demands. Reversible shoes are quite sensitive to asphalt, cobblestones and gravel. These floor coverings did not yet exist in the Middle Ages, so we recommend using shoes made of real wood, so-called trippes (item no. 3129030100).
