This half-boot is based on comparable models from the High Middle Ages from 1100 to 1400 AD and is very elaborately and robustly made. The shaft extends well above the ankle and is fastened with four leather straps. The sole is fully nailed and very robust.



Please note:

The sturdiness of shoes based on historical patterns may not meet modern requirements! They are quite sensitive to asphalt, concrete blocks and gravel. These floor coverings did not exist in the Middle Ages! Therefore, we recommend wearing shoes, insoles if necessary or having rubber soles fitted by your chosen shoemaker.
