This half-boot is based on comparable models from the High Middle Ages, from 1100 to 1400 AD, and is elaborately and robustly constructed. The shaft extends well above the ankle and is secured with four leather straps. The sole is fully nailed and very sturdy.



Please note:

The sturdiness of shoes based on historical patterns may not meet modern requirements! They are quite sensitive to asphalt, concrete blocks, and gravel. These floor coverings didn't exist in the Middle Ages! Therefore, we recommend wearing shoes, insoles if necessary, or having rubber soles fitted by a shoemaker of your choice.
