With good humor, you walk forward whistling an old folk song. Some might think you're crazy. Perhaps you are. But of course, you prefer to be called a dwarf berserker.

DETAILS

The Epic Armoury Sun Hammer is a 135cm latex hammer uniquely designed to be safer and easier to wield in combat. The 39cm long Sun Hammer head is asymmetrical, featuring an 20cm wide flat face on one end and a spike on the other. The head is hollow, making it safer to use and lighter than a foam alternative. Hand-sculpted and painted to resemble dwarven forged metal, the head is attached to a similarly decorated handle and a 49cm black leather-wrapped foregrip.

The handle is made of durable, closed-cell foam wrapped around a fiberglass core and finished with a strong latex coating. The head is made of tough, flexible latex with an inner foam rod to maintain its shape and keep the head attached to the handle. With regular latex maintenance, your LARP weapon will provide the safety and aesthetic appeal befitting an epic character for years to come.

HISTORY

• A late medieval weapon designed to damage armored opponents without penetrating plate
• Long hammers were generally designed for fighting mounted troops, while shorter ones were used in close quarters.
• Long hammers were also used to attack the legs of horses during combat.
