Thor's hammer, also called mjölnir (= the malmer), is the attribute of the thunder god thor, considered the second most important norse deity after his father odin. according to mythology, the dwarf brokk forged mjölnir and could be thrown without ever missing the target. with the hammer, thor successfully fights against the giants who always threaten the lineages of the vanir and aesir.



This Thor's hammer is hand forged from steel. It consists of two parts, the shaft and the hammer head, which are riveted together. The solid ring is also closed using riveting technology.



The surface is untreated, so it still retains the typical layer of forging scales, giving Viking jewellery a rustic and authentic look.
