DETAILS

Epic Armoury's Warhammer is an 85cm latex warhammer inspired by weapons from the late medieval period. This particular hammerhead is a slightly larger replica with a smaller prong, specifically designed for a fantasy appearance and play safety. The hammer face is octagonal and measures 7cm long from the handle. The claw-shaped prong measures 10cm long. Featuring hand-sculpted and painted details, this hammer is designed to resemble dark, weathered wood. The 20cm handle is wrapped in brown split leather for a superior grip.

Made from durable closed-cell foam around a fiberglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, you can be sure that your LARP weapon will provide the security and appeal you desire when building your kit.

HISTORY

• A late medieval weapon designed to damage armored opponents without penetrating through plate.
• Long warhammers were generally long ones designed against mounted troops, while shorter ones were used in close quarters.
• Long warhammers were also used to attack the legs of horses during combat.
• Spikes were added to the hammer head to pierce and seize armor joints
