Get Fir Wood Butter Dish, Approx. 65 x 20 x 14 cm.

Butter dish made of fir wood 65x20x14cm

This decorative and at the same time usable butter churn is made of solid fir wood. Three steel strips on the barrel body ensure a good hold, so that even the strongest blows are no longer a problem. The three parts of the item included in the delivery are independent of each other, so cleaning after churning is no problem at all.

Details:

- Material: fir

- Total height: approx. 64 cm (with pusher)

- Barrel height: approx. 40 cm

- Volume: approx. 3.8 liters

Please note that the above specifications vary from item to item and the images above are for exemplary purposes only.

Since wood is a natural product, variations in colour and/or grain are quite normal. This means that each butter dish is unique and has its own characteristics and patterns.

Care instructions

In order to enjoy this product for a long time, please note the following: The butter churn is not suitable for filling with hot drinks. Likewise, liquids should not be left in the wooden container for several hours. Before using it for the first time, you should wipe the butter churn inside and out with a damp cloth and let it dry. It should then be rubbed with vegetable oil (tasteless) or paraffin oil (medicinal white oil, paraffinum (per)liquidum) at around 60 degrees Celsius. Then let the barrel dry and let the oil soak in for at least 10 hours. The excess oil can then be rubbed off. Repeat this process two more times, always making sure that no large amounts of oil accumulate on the bottom. In the future, repeat this treatment regularly once after about 3 uses. After each use, rinse with lukewarm water and place at room temperature with the opening facing downwards to dry. Wood is a natural material and can crack under extreme conditions. For this reason, the barrel should not be left in water for a long time and should not be placed in the sun or near heat sources such as radiators.
