The mitts offered here are specifically designed for fencing, sparring, and exhibition combat. They reduce the risk of injury while still ensuring sufficient mobility when wielding a sword or shield. They are especially suitable for practicing Viking fighting techniques.

They are made of sturdy, vegetable-tanned leather, and the back of the hand is protected by additional 5 mm thick leather flakes. The gloves feel a little stiff at first, but with proper leather care and regular use, they quickly become softer and more supple.

These protective gloves are individually fitted and secured to the wrist by an adjustable strap with a buckle closure.

The handguard is sold in pairs.
