You've commissioned a blacksmith to craft a katana for you. Before you pay, you want to be sure it's a properly made blade, so you perform a test. You produce a silk sheet, allowing it to drape slightly over the edge of the katana. The blade is cut cleanly, without a single mismatched thread.

Epic Armoury's original katana handle is preferred by deadly ninja assassins and samurai alike. The handle is sold separately for your DIY project. The small oval crossguard protects the 8-inch handle, molded and painted to resemble menuki-style bound cloth.

Whether you're a samurai or a ninja, this katana handle is our highest-quality equipment due to its impressive durability and detail. Pair it with your own foam and latex blade, while benefiting from Epic Armoury's reputation for detail. Made from a polyurethane foam mold, this handle requires no maintenance.

Instructions for use:

Create or purchase one of our fiberglass-core foam sheets, leaving a length of core that matches the handle. Slide the handle over the exposed core of your sheet and glue it in place. Let it dry completely before using, probably after 1 or 2 days.
