The design of this collection of tactical machetes was based on the tanto knives, wakizashis, and katanas from Cold Steel's extremely popular Warrior series.

These fantastic and unique machetes are available in three different sizes. Each model features a wide, curved tanto blade and a sturdy tsuba (guard) made of heat-treated 1055 carbon steel with a baked-enamel anti-corrosion finish. The wide, full-length tang is encased in an impact-resistant, injection-molded polypropylene handle that is incredibly durable and weather-resistant.

Cold Steel has spared no effort to replicate the look of a traditional cord-wrapped handle, fuchi (grip ferrule), and kashira (grip cap). However, modern materials have been used that won't shrink, tarnish, rot, or warp, and require minimal care to deliver consistent peak performance. These tactical machetes are sharpened at Cold Steel's headquarters in Ventura, California. For easy transport and storage, a Cor-Ex™ sheath is included with each model.
