Enjoy Machete Gladius With Sheath
Gladius machete
The gladius was inspired by the swords of the Celtic tribes of ancient Iberia (Spain) and was adopted by Roman legionaries. With its long, narrow point and notched blade, it was the terror of the battlefield and often the last thing Rome's enemies saw and felt.
Almost 2000 years later, the gladius is still very popular and is one of the most sought after swords. That's why Cold Steel decided to offer a modern version of this ancient classic in an affordable format.
Machete/sword.
The gladius machete's combat-ready blade is forged from 1055 carbon steel and hand-sharpened. It offers unmatched penetration and cutting power at a bargain price.
For optimum stability, the gladius machete is equipped with a particularly wide, continuous tang. The handle has the classic guard element and round pommel of the historical model. It is made of impact-resistant polypropylene, making it weather-resistant and incredibly robust. A sturdy cor-ex™ sheath with belt loop is included.
