The Cojang Jungle Machete is based on Joe Flowers's research into Sumatran designs. He became interested in Klewang and Cojang-style swords and tools and was eventually able to locate a replica at a San Francisco antique dealer. This turn-of-the-century piece was designed for a full-tang version. The result is a lightweight and highly functional machete. Practical testing yielded excellent results.

The Cojang Jungle Machete begins with a 6mm-thick tapered blade that tapers to just under 2mm at the tip, making it extremely lightweight. Condor has opted for a full-tang construction that utilizes the traditional projection at the end of the handle to incorporate a lanyard, while maintaining the aesthetic tradition of this legendary blade.
