The Cojang Jungle Machete is based on Joe Flowers' research into Sumatran designs. He became interested in Klewang and Cojang style swords and tools and was eventually able to locate a replica at a San Francisco antiques dealer. This turn of the century piece was designed for a full tang version. The result is a lightweight and very well functioning machete. Field testing yielded excellent results.

The Cojang Jungle Machete starts with a 6mm thick, tapered blade that tapers to just under 2mm at the tip, making it extremely lightweight. Condor has chosen a full tang construction that utilizes the traditional projection at the end of the handle to incorporate a lanyard, while maintaining the aesthetic tradition of this legendary blade.
