This Roman armour is a smaller, accomplished replica of the so-called lorica segmentata of the Corbridge type from the 1st century AD.
This type of rail truss (or bracing truss ) is named after the excavations carried out near the village of Corbridge in the north of England, where the ancient fortress was located.
And the garrison town Corstopitum / Coria , an important Roman army base on Hadrian's Wall.
