"Rhadza and her fellow warriors stood lined up, spears and shields ready. They had been told to hold this tunnel against any attackers and were on alert. Something moved at the edge of Rhadza's dark vision, and her fingers moved through the intricate motions, signaling the others to prepare. Their spears were at the ready, quieter than death itself, and they formed a shield wall, creating a tunnel of death as the enemy, a unit of gnomes, attacked. Rhadza felt nothing but the heavy impact of bodies on her spear, bodies that didn't know they were already dead."

Epic Armoury's Eventide Lance takes its design from several sources. It's built like a long spear, almost reaching the length of a pike. At the same time, the spearhead features a crossguard, which looks more like a short sword meant for stabbing. In appearance, it is closely linked to modern dark elves and the classic Norse mythology of Svartálfar. It is a latex hybrid weapon featuring closed-cell foam, a fiberglass core, and a latex coating for durability. The glaive is 250 cm long, with a 41 cm long spearhead. It can be split in two using a threaded bolt system, allowing you to use the upper half of the spear as a shorter stabbing sword, provided you first cover the bolt securely. The shaft of the weapon is finely sculpted to resemble dark mahogany, where the grooves in the wood can be seen. It has only light gold detailing, making it an obvious choice for a character who wishes to remain hidden.
