The cold steels® american hunting spear is a three-piece construction consisting of a long steel eyelet, shaft and head welded together. The result is a stable spearhead that is equally suitable for throwing and thrusting. A secure-ex® sheath is included.



To keep costs as low as possible and to save space, the American Hunting Spear is delivered without a handle . The spear tip nozzle is compatible with most commercially available shovel or ash shovel handles (48 inches/approx. 122 cm) in the USA.



Sk-5 carbon steel

Japanese sk-5 carbon steel is traditionally used to make a variety of hand tools, such as chisels and wood saws. Due to its high universal toughness, excellent edge retention and outstanding abrasion resistance, this steel has proven itself in many countries.
