Epic Armoury's Celtic Lamellar is a leather breastplate designed to protect the torso with a reinforced leather breastplate and a rigid backplate. Crafted from overlaid, vegetable-tanned full-grain leather, this breastplate is shaped to deflect blows and offer great flexibility. Adorned with golden runic sigils and sturdy leather cord stitching, this sturdy breastplate adjusts at the flanks where three long leather straps and brass buckles secure the front to the backplate.
This Celtic plate is tailored to Gaelic tradition, making it an excellent choice for swift soldiers and skirmishers. This armor is fully compatible with other leather and metal armor pieces from Epic Armory. While designed to fit a Celtic setting, the style will also match a wide range of worlds and characters, allowing you the freedom to create your own unique style.

Maintenance
Natural leather products are very durable, but they require regular maintenance with leather care products to maintain suppleness and extend their lifespan. Make sure your leather products stay dry when stored. Let wet leather dry naturally before treating it. If it frequently gets wet and dries, increase the frequency of maintenance.
Cleaning
Clean by removing dirt with a stiff brush, then gently rub leather soap with a clean, damp cloth until the leather looks clean. Remove the soap with a separate damp cloth to clean any soap residue, and then use a dry cloth to wipe away any remaining water from the leather.
Conditioning
You should always condition leather after cleaning it, as the soap will have removed some of its natural oils. Treat the leather with mink oil, olive oil, or beeswax using a clean cloth, gently rubbing a small amount of oil or wax into the leather in circles. Allow the leather to soak in the oil before wiping it with a final clean cloth to remove excess residue.
