Koshi sori or kissaki katana, battleblades



This beautiful full tang Battleblades handle was designed for both cutting tests (tameshigiri) and to be a high quality collector's item.



The blade with sanbon-suki style hamon and pronounced koshi-sori curvature was hand forged from 1095 carbon steel, differentially hardened and hand polished. The impressive o-kissaki with shinogi-zukuri geometry gives the blade a dignified touch and guarantees effective cutting performance.

The tsuka, fuchi, kashira and menuki are finely decorated with floral motifs. The cotton ito is wrapped in katatemaki style over black ray skin. The seppa and habaki are made of brass.



The handmade hardwood saya is partially covered with white ray skin and coated with four layers of varnish to highlight the beautiful grain of the wood. The high-quality sageo and the polished koiguchi, kurikata and kojiri made of genuine black buffalo horn complete the overall picture.



The samurai sword comes with a Battleblades Inc. embroidered silk pouch and a certificate of authenticity.
