The Kogane no Senshi Honsanmai Katana from Battleblades is a true masterpiece for any sword collection.



The samurai sword was hand forged and polished by the finest swordsmiths. This unique weapon features an extremely strong, clay-hardened, folded honsanmai blade made of 1095 carbon steel with a pronounced koshi-sori curve, surprisingly long o-kissaki, and a very sharp cutting edge (ha).



A high quality katana with gold colored details



The hardwood tsuka is wrapped in black-dyed ray skin, wrapped with a beautiful katatemaki-style golden silk ito and fitted with gold-plated menuki. The tsuba, kashira and fuchi are made of blackened iron.



The magnificent saya is a clear example of exceptional craftsmanship. It is made of high-quality hardwood, covered with four thick layers of black lacquer. Koiguchi, kojiri and kurikata are made of genuine buffalo horn. On top of the saya, golden-colored sageo silk wrapped around a layer of rough stingray skin creates a unique appearance.



A magnificent piece suitable for both tameshigiri and serious sword collectors.



The samurai sword comes with a Battleblades Inc. embroidered silk pouch and a serial numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
