The Hanwei Shinto Katana features a hand-forged blade made from T10 carbon steel bo-hi.

The blade of this katana has been differentially tempered using traditional manufacturing processes. The tsuka-ito of the Shinto katana consists of a black coil of high-quality Japanese cotton. The saya is painted deep black and covered with black cotton sageo. The black iron tsuba, shaped like a filigree dragon, impresses with gilded elements on the detailed front and back. The katana's antique look also lends it excellent aesthetics. A protective cloth pouch and a traditional care kit are included.
