The Hanwei Shinto Katana has a hand-forged blade made from T10 carbon steel Bo-Hi.



The blade of this katana has been differentially tempered using traditional manufacturing processes. The tsuka-ito of the Shinto katana consists of a black coil of high-quality Japanese cotton. The saya is painted deep black and covered with black cotton sageo. The black iron tsuba in the shape of a filigree dragon impresses with gold elements on the detailed front and back. The antique look of the katana also lends it an excellent aesthetic. A protective cloth bag and a traditional care kit are included.
