Delight in the Golden Katana Oriole
Golden Oriole Katana
The elegant shape of the golden oriole katana by paul chen/hanwei has long been very popular with Japanese sword enthusiasts.
Its stunningly beautiful tsuba tells the story of a praying mantis that ambushes a cricket, but doesn't realize that it itself is being attacked by an oriole (i, also known as igoldamsel in German) is hunted. The deep blue of the lacquered saya is repeated in the Japanese cotton tsuka-ito , and a praying mantis motif adorns the kashira . In the unmistakable Hanwei quality, the approximately 36 cm long tsuka ensures excellent balance, giving the sword agility and great maneuverability. To protect the sword, each katana comes with a matching cloth sheath and a Japanese sword care set.
You can complete your collection with the matching golden oriole wakizashi (item number sh1019).
