Instructions Shinto Light Katana has a hand forged carbon steel blade with Bo-Hi . The blade of this beautiful samurai sword has been hardened differently by a traditional process in clay coating.

The core of the tsuka consists of two pieces of hardwood that have been carved to fit snugly onto the fishing rod. It is covered with 2 strips of stingray skin and wrapped with high quality woven cotton cord. The blackened iron tsuba features a finely crafted dragon motif with gold detailing. The saya was made of hardwood, painted jet black and fitted with a black cotton sageo .
